Was reading through the email list, and saw this. James is indeed correct,
it seems more about VB and Linux with clipboard sharing being definitely a
problem some folks face when working with VB. It didn't work the last time
I tried it with VB + Ubuntu Server. I instead jumped on to having Shared
folders between my host and virtual system using VB's shared folders guest
additions approach. Not sure how much this helps you, but I documented how
it worked out for me. Here you go,
