One of the post files for 2009 contains a multi-byte character between the
word "Beta" and "1". Value of the character is 0xe28091 and it is
rendered on Linux as a dash or hyphen.

The operating system you are using either cannot handle this
character, or the version of git has failed to keep the character
intact.

Most of us use Linux operating system for working on Sugar projects.

I'm not sure if we have anyone using Windows.

You might contact Microsoft or your vendor of git to find out how to
keep those multi-byte characters in place.
