[Sugar-devel] Sugar Dashboard Meeting

Late review of this meeting, sorry.
I'm concerned about the idea to use 15 icons. I've seen your private
branch changes to the Sugar Artwork module. I think this is the wrong
approach, as you are using many separate SVG files to render only two
dimensions; disk space and number of journal entries. Each additional
dimension will multiply the icons again.
Sugar Toolkit supports badges, or emblems, which are SVG icons placed
over the top of other SVG icons, see examples/iconbadges.py and
emblems/. If you don't want to use Cairo directly, at least consider
emblems.
Also, I don't like the icons; the "embryo" is just a circle, or the
head part of the standard icon. The "teen" is almost a stick figure,
unrelated to the standard icon.
We already have a set of standard icons ordered by age. Could you not
use them?
