Hey Andrew,
The game you're talking about can be created with pygame, I'm not sure we
have that as an activity.
After creating with pygame you can use our sugargame package to make it
work in sugar see
https://github.com/sugarlabs/sugargame.
You can also start at the issues in our github org.
