[Sugar-devel] GSoC '17 Introduction

Hello all,

My name is Sanchit Kapoor and I am a 4th year undergraduate student at
Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. I have had past experience with
open source projects like Mozilla, OWASP, etc and I would like to
contribute to Sugarlabs this time as a part of Google Summer of Code 2017.

I would like to know more about the project "Sugarizer Server Dashboard".
If I remember correctly this project was also in the list of ideas last
year too? What should an ideal candidate do to get selected for this
project? I have experience with backend technologies including MongoDB,
Node.js and have made several little personal projects using these
technologies. They can be viewed at my Github profile here:

I would like to know a little in detail about the project that I am
interested in and also whether this project has to be done from scratch or
is this an improvement of an older project? As in has some previous GSoC
candidate worked on it?
