Yes, thanks. I'm very much aware of this. It is the one exception that I
mentioned.
Have you seen the embedded flash sugar wrapper approach?

I think it works better than in the browser, if you really need swf
contents.

If possible I think it's better to give the users an updated browser.
Not doing so puts them at risk. Risk is to be balanced against other
risks and opportunities. There are, of course, many constraints in a
deployment.

It would be wise to publish the sources of the Flash apps with a proper
license, then perhaps members of the community could redo some of them.
Nobody is going to try to dissasemble a swf for fun.

It is a pity when the work of artists, educators, and children, gets
lost because of the whim of the market around education. This is why
Free Software and OERs are so important and go hand in hand.
