I feel very frustrated. I need fun, and humor, and friendly, happy vibes. I
would like to ask you to PLEASE be courteous when you disagree.
I also feel anxious, because I think that this kind of public bickering is
corrosive and drives away new contributors, and efforts to improve the bug
tracking or mailing list infrastructures is 10x or 100x less important than
keeping the emotional atmosphere good :)

I am extremely happy to see you engaged here :)
I offer that there's no need to use threats of withdrawal to coerce anyone
in to compliance with your wishes.
It seems Tony - and I - are not aware of how to test patches without
installing images. Indeed, so far I haven't even got as far as installing a
new image on my XO-1 or XO-4 :(
Please could you explain to us one of the more simple ways to test a fix
without an image? :)
