It should be mentioned that only the first build is supposed to be slow.
Thanks to ccache when you rebuild it should be pretty fast (it is also on
buildbot, which is probably a lot slower than your machine).
If you guys are not seeing this, I wonder if you are running out of cache
(I increased the cache both on my machine and on buildbot). Can you try
"ccache -M 5G" and see if that makes your life easier? The second build
speed up is supposed to be very noticable, I haven't really measured
carefully but it could be something like 10x.
