	my program allows the user to engage in a conversation with others
	or give a talk from an existing file or set of files.  it also
	lets others ask the user to go back and find something that was
	spoken earlier.  

	AFAIK, every version of *Nix has espeak, so what I've written 
	would fit in as an adjunct to whatever speech programs Sugar 
	already has.
