I was reading many nice comments about the work Fedora is doing with Badges:

While looks like a lot of infrastructure work, can be a good way to recognize,
and encourage participation.
We can have badges for.
* Open and close tickets.
* Pull requests, reviews.
* Wiki edition.
* New Activities.
* Updated activities.

When we have this working for the community, can explore ways to our
users earn badges too.
