Peter,

I would agree with Samy's comments.  SOAS can an important means of
"first access" to Sugar which is key in the early stages of new L10n
efforts, often occurring before XO laptops are widely available to the
interested parties.

I would be interested in exploring if SOAS would be amenable to using
the existing (or somewhat modified) language pack process so it can
also be used for iterative L10n testing in these situations (as L10n
rolls in slowly).

Do you include all available langs in SOAS or do you select a subset
(like OLPC releases do)?  I'm sorry that I dod no tknow tha answer, I
regretably must count myself among those wh do not do mcuh SOAS
testing.  I will try to be better about that and I offer the L10n list
as an avenue for recruiting additional testers.  I will forward any
call for testing messages and encourage the L10n community to take
part by explainign it's general importance to the L10n effort and in
reaching more langs than XO laptop deployments can.
