For your interest, open_log_file in activityfactory.py in
sugar-toolkit.git contains a handling of ENOSPC.

(What it does in response to the exception is somewhat irrelevant to
your task ... it stops logging once a log file cannot be created
... though I don't see any handling of where writes to the log file
would fail.)
