Hi Guys,

Just did a quick review of Write-80 running in 13.1.0 build 6. Hope you don't mind the pdf mind map of my notes, also added them as raw text below if you don't like pretty graphics ;)

* Can't touch scroll as text selection is conflicting with scroll gesture
** Text selection should be triggered by a long press gesture, not a simple drag across the screen

* Double, tap to select a word (old gtk behaviour) currently requires very accurate tapping to trigger, should allow more leeway for position error.
** Ideally, long press should also select a whole word

* Selected text appears all in black so you can't see what you have selected

* Copy/Paste has no effect
** Tested keyboard shortcuts
** Tested toolbar buttons

* Touch selection handles
** Top (left) handle rendering good
** Bottom (right) handle rendering as black silhouette of top (left) handle svg
** Insertion point handle rendering as a combination of the top (left) handle black silhouette and what looks like an overlaid white silhouette bottom (right) handle svg

* Can't switch away from Write and return without Write crashing
** Likely related to the 'cant resume a session bug'

* Recommend 16pt default start font size for easier touch selection and more kid friendly text

* Default start font on canvas does not match what it says in the toolbar combo

* Touch dragging text selections
** Write allows you to drag a selection, very easy to accidentally trigger this via touch
*** Should block this behaviour, or make it harder to trigger accidentally by using a delay, or long delay press before a drag is started.
** Dragging a selection also fails to update the selection handles, leaving them behind in the old location
