Apologizes, in my last post I gave a link on a french page :
the insteresting command is here
VBoxManage clonehd machine.vmdk machine.vdi -format VDI
- input machine.vmdk is to be replaced by the vmdk to convert
- input machine.vdi is to be relpaced by the output vdi
