Cool! I tried a lot and I couldn't build it. It would be great if you
reach this goal!
I didn't take a look at your code, but I'm happy with your initiative.
I don't think that I could collaborate on the process because I don't
have enough time, but this (sugar-build) was the first thing that I
tried to do when I started with OLPC. I agree with you about the "try
to open the door to new developers" (if you search on the mailing list
archive I sent some emails about this).
Besides, I don't have the knowledge that you do have about packaging
and distribution. That's a BIG point for you! I don't support you with
code, but at least spiritually :)
