[Sugar-devel] GSM string question

Can someone please explain the purpose of these GSM strings?

In Sugar 0.94, they did *NOT* say (DEPRECATED/UNUSED), but in Sugar
0.96 and Sugar 0.97, they say (DEPRECATED/UNUSED)

If they are really deprecated or unused, why are we still carrying
them in the UI?
