So yes, I think effort in this direction is appreciated.  The current
documentation for the toolkit is the almanac [1], a lot of that should
be ported to docstrings in the code:

Maybe a good place to store the docs is readthedocs.org ?  The GTK+ 3
Python Tutorial is there too.
