[Sugar-devel] GSoC 2012 idea: autorpmgen

Hi,

I am willing to participate in GSoC this year. The initial idea is of
Peter's. In short it is a auto rpm generation system based on new and
updated sugar activities. A separate repo will be maintained to host
these rpms and those who want, can add this repo and use it to
experience all most all the activities that are available in sugar
labs. For the time being in distributions like fedora, the activities
used are only those are packaged for fedora. With this fedora and
other rpm based distribution users will get the chance to use sugar
activities without waiting them to be packaged and available in their
distribution's repo.

I would like to implement this idea as the GSoC project and I have
drafted a project proposal [1].

I would like to know,
(1) any comments on the project idea
(2) of a potential mentor to support
