The best way to ensure high quality is by automating tests as much as
possible. It provides instant feedback to developers (so a bug gets
caught even prior to review) and enables system integrators to verify
that Sugar works as intended on a target platform. It also gives our
testers more time to test for bugs we don't already anticipate.
This particular bug was not caught by the existing (though still
unreviewed) test suite [1-3] and a regression test seemed to be the best
idea.
