I like both clock icons, and a great way to avoid the previous long text. My only extra suggestion/question is more one of implementation... Is it possible to make the clock icons seem more joined to the combo dialogues? My worry is that that there is no visual difference between a toolbar button that a user can click on to trigger an action or palette vs. an icon used only as a label. I guess ideally the clock icons would be placed (at a slightly smaller size) inside the left of the combo rounded grey rectangle. Not sure if we can do such a thing in gtk but thought I would mention it in case someone knows how.
