Aside from just Web browsers, how about supporting HTML5/JS activities
more directly?

Karma[0] looks very cool[1], but unfortunately it looks like a dormant project.

I think we can create a lot of potential[2] by integrating WebKit into
Sugar, rather than just having a Web browser on top.
