That's inherent to the porting solution apparently agreed upon in
Prague. I've outlined alternatives in my review [1] of Daniels patch,
but they've all been rejected during the Development Team meeting last
week [2].
For the time being, sugar-toolkit (GTK2) and sugar-toolkit-gtk3 will
need to stay closely aligned as activity authors should be able to use
them interchangeably [3].
