Excerpts from Daniel Drake's message of 2011-12-09 22:26:33 +0100:
> This patch accompanies a sugar patch titled
> "sugar-activity: make independent of sugar-toolkit GTK versions"
>
> The core Activity-instantiating functionality of main.py has been moved
> into the sugar-activity binary and can be removed from here.
>
> The remaining functionality (and everything that is GTK-specific) is moved
> into the Activity class in this commit.
>
> This is needed to make /usr/bin/sugar-activity independent of sugar/sugar3
> and GTK2/GTK3, which is a crucial step for GTK3 activity support.
Please drop /usr/bin/ from paths (it assumes Sugar is installed using
native distro packages and doesn't add any useful information).

Please coordinate pushing with me on #sugar as we need to land three
different patches (remove sugar-activity from sugar [1], this patch [2],
adding sugar-toolkit-gtk3 to sugar-jhbuild) simultaneously. Also either
"Reimplement Palettes for GTK3" [3] or "Drop broken sugar-menu C module"
[4] needs to land in sugar-toolkit-gtk3 prior to the simultaneous push.
