Re neighbourhood colours, yes understood that's what you were picking up from (the existing neighbourhood solid grey effect is not so good on the home view as the number of different detailed icons is so much higher). Obviously neighbourhood/group/home filter search effect should all use the same style once we've locked it down.

I guess I don't need one, but it would be nice for comparison ;)

Regarding magic numbers for alpha, what does .33 look like, better in monochrome, but still clear what are the search hits/misses?
