I'm puzzled at how you reached this conclusion, all I'm asking is to
lower the hostility.

We are asking people to add the url to the commit manually now and I
don't see why we would *need* to change that right now.

Even more, I'm personally ok with not having the bug -> commit
reference as long as we make sure there's a url to the bug or at the
very least the bug id in the commit message.
