Dear users of our fine bug tracker,
In order to better deal with spammers, we're going to "moderate" [1] the
posts of new users on Trac (bugs.sugarlabs.org).
Once the first post has been accepted, all future submissions will go
through unfiltered. Assuming spammers won't do the effort of submitting
"valid" content first, this should enable us to filter out virtually all
SPAM while keeping the administration overhead at a minimum.
In preparation for this change, I'm going to do some spring cleaning on
the account database. Any user that hasn't made a single change so far
will be deleted (488 accounts as of my last check). Changes specifically
include adding oneself to CC.
All remaining users (199 as of my last check) will be be added to the
"unmoderated" group, so nothing changes for them.
I don't expect this to affect any real user, but figured an advance
warning never hurts. :)
