Tomeu,
I'm pleased you going to be working on collaboration to make it more
scalable and robust. When I was working on my FLOSS Manual chapter on
Making Shared Activities I had a hard time setting up test
environments for sharing. I think I needed to shut down the firewall
on Fedora 10 to use Salut collaboration and I never got Salut working
on Fedora 11 at all. I also ran into the scalability issues working
with jabber.sugarlabs.org.
One thing I hope you can address is to try and make problems like the
one I had with Salut easier to diagnose. Maybe more helpful messages
in the logs would do it. The messages I got weren't all that helpful.
