I'm afraid it can't be completely eliminated due to the way Metacity
interacts with Sugar to make all applications go full-screen. On the
XO-1 the delay is longer than on a faster machine, especially when the
CPU is hogged by multiple processes.

However, before we had occasionally an activity that would *stay* in
window forever. That bug should be fixed.

Yes, I would expect only non-Python activities to do it.
