This rpm may already contain the fix we need:

My hope is based on this particular changelog entry:

 * Wed Nov 25 2009 Dave Airlie <airlied at redhat.com>
 6.13.0-0.13.20091125git8b28534bc - rebase to upstream with r600 speed ups and r100 fixes integrated.

But there are a number of other bugfixes, too.


Caroline, I believe you could install it on SoaS by doing:

 sudo yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update xorg-x11-drv-ati

It should drag in a few more testing packages, that's to be expected.
