Which way do you suggest me ? Is there any tool for making usb-stick re-writable Soas on Linux/XP ?

The live image creator basically dupes a iso image over to a usb key
so its read only. If you wish to have it not read only you need to
have storage that is persistent. I've never used unetbootin so I'm not
sure if it has the option to set that.
