I use the Seagate FreeAgent Go (250-500GB) USB drives or equivalent as
install media for my Linux test systems.
They work very well with netbooks and are almost the same cost as an
8GB USB flash Drive.
An added benefit; they seem at least 10X faster, and run off the USB
port's power.
