No this is/was a different issue. I'm pretty sure this was related to Journal entry corruption after hard crashes, leaving partial DS entries. I believe some work may have already landed to make sure activity session data is flushed to storage sooner, reducing the chance of partial/corrupt/missing entries after hard crashes.
