The situation is somewhat worse in Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid):

 logilab-common
 logilab-astng
 pylint

These are required because Ubuntu is still stuck with pylint 0.19.

 GConf-dbus

This is not really used unless one needs the SUGAR_PROFILE feature. We
could easily remove it from the default build.

 python-xklavier

Ubuntu does not seem to have this packaged. Does the control panel
applet for configuring the keyboard work in Debian and Ubuntu?

 sugar-base
 sugar-datastore
 sugar-presence-service
 sugar-toolkit
 sugar-artwork
 sugar

These are obviously ok.

 abiword
 pyabiword
 abiword-plugins

These will finally go away in Lucid, which includes python-abiword.

 hulahop

Ubuntu does not seem to have hulahop packaged. How does Browse manage to
work without?

 meta-glucose
 read
 browse
 chat
 write
 terminal
 calculate
 log
 pippy
 imageviewer
 turtleart
 jukebox
 meta-fructose
 meta-sugar

The fructose activities are ok.
