Thank you so much for you feedback!
What I thought was about having a sample of Sugar, not the actual Sugar.
I don't want to emulate Sugar on Windows, but just having the circle of
links in a window.
The most important part of Sugar to me is the innovative desktop. Children
are encouraged to work.
I wish I could have that as an application program, a portable one, and not
as a whole system.
I think this can even help more people to getting to know Sugar, without the
need of having an XO on their hands or intalling the whole Sugar.
What I want to do is a fake Sugar, like the website
http://www.paraguayeduca.org/ has done, but not in flash.
It's not easy for people that doesn't know much about computing to get
started with Sugar right the way.
What about having a "See how Sugar looks like" link on Sugar Labs wiki?
You download it and install it, and get to know it.
And after that when a teacher has her first contact with the real Sugar,
she'll say she's already familiar with it.
Maybe I'm not making myself clear.... or it's not a good idea anyway.
Thanks again for your feedback!
I really appreciate that, intead of the "not an idea" thing.
Regards,
Elayne.
