After some days of silence, the beast returns [1]. Actually, there's a
new true SoaS snapshot ready for you, awaiting testing eagerly.

It's available for download from here:
http://download.sugarlabs.org/soas/snapshots/3/SoaS3-200909271154.iso

Note the increased file size, which is the trade-off for a much faster
first-time boot process. We're also now shipping a more recent Sugar
environment than before; but packaging of 0.86 is still in the works.
You'll probably (in case your machine supports KMS) also notice the new,
shiny boot screen for Blueberry. Thanks Gary for the artwork!

You might need a new version of the livecd-iso-to-disk script, too. For
your convenience, you can now grab always the latest version from
Fedora's GIT through this link: http://bit.ly/livecd-iso-to-disk

Additionally, you'll need to adjust the script's arguments to get a
working USB key. Please DON'T use the --home-size-mb parameter anymore.

An example call of the script might look like this (unless removing the
parameters, it will reformat your USB key; data loss included!):

./tools_livecd-iso-to-disk.sh --format --reset-mbr --overlay-size-mb 400
--delete-home --extra-kernel-args selinux=0 ./SoaS3-200909271154.iso
/dev/sdb1

Please take care of adjusting the overlay size and USB device location
yourself! Make also sure to add the extra kernel arguments like above,
too. Otherwise, you'll be left with a non-working solution. This is only
a temporary issue, though, and will most likely be fixed later.

Report all issues you encounter at our bugtracker [2] and feel free to
join and introduce yourself on the SoaS mailing list [3].

Next steps are to solve the confusion created by the different release
numbers spreading around and publishing XO builds at the same time
(thanks to Martin Dengler for his great work here!).

Thanks,
--Sebastian
