Yep, I noticed that mail.  And that was my reason for asking the scope 
imagined for such a team.

It seems to me that above referenced initiative is for Sugarlabs 
offering prebuilt distro-compatible packages (why else the need for a 
build service?).

Please correct me if I am wrong.
