You can put such requests in a new wiki page, and/or create feature
pages, and/or enter tickets in trac, and/or send them to the mailing
list for discussion and awareness.

I'm not sure what combination of those channels will work better for
you. Any opinions about how deployments can make better their needs
better known?
Also, deployments may want to be aware of the release schedule in
order to reduce the "time to market" of their features.
