Hi Manusheel,
There is no specific pyabiword binding for insert
textbox but your can use the following technique to access the
abiword/src/wp/ap/xp/ap_EditMethods.cpp function that provide the
interface to libabiword.
do:
self._abiword_canvas.invoke_cmd("insTextbox","",0,0)
To invoke the GUI to insert a textbox.
