Gnewsense is not a supported distro and since it's lenny-based it 
probably won't contain the package versions we need. If there's a 
squeeze-based version of Gnewsense we might be able to support it, 
though.
Instead of throwing an exception we now print an error message that's 
(hopefully) easier to understand.
