Given that csnd.py was there before you erased olpcsound, and after
you erased olpcsound it was gone, I suspected that olpcsound is what
installs csnd.py.  A quick "rpm -q --whatprovides
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/csnd.py" confirmed this.

PS - I realise this isn't the most helpful answer to your
question...more research is necessary but I suspect going back to the
original error would be helpful.
