Unfortunately, no. No one has yet completed an implementation of the "gates"
needed to guard access to the DS and the "glue" needed to know which DS entries
to fork over to which activities. 

(I got partway through an implementation of the "gates", which are actually
fairly simple, but didn't get to the "glue". [8.2.0 intervened.] Later, Scott
approached the problem from a completely different angle, i.e. with FUSE
filesystems. Hopefully, though, Tomeu's simplified data store will make
further work in this area a bit simpler, if any such work occurs.)
