[Sugar-devel] diagnose record activity problem

Hello:

I'm trying to get sugar on a stick (blueberry) to work on a couple of
notebooks. A toshiba L305D and an Asus EEEPc701

When trying to launch the record activity, it doesn't start

I looked into the LOG activity and found this error

The camera is recgnized by the OS,

Webcam

I tryed downloading the latest version of the activity, it appears to
install correctly, but it doesn't start either

any ideas on how to diagnose better the error?
