When trying to collaborate between 1.5 and 1.0, the way to make it work is:

 1 - On the 1.5, use the 'create new network' option, which should
appear in the frame.

 2 - On the XO-1, after a few seconds you should see the network in
the neighbourhood view. Join it.

 3 - Now you can collaborate. Follow the usual steps of sharing an activity...
