Hello everyone,
I was trying to boot my XO with ubuntu last night after successfully
booting it with DebXO with a USB and Fedora.
I used these steps:

1.Formatted the USB and gave name"OLPCRoot"
2.Installed Ubuntu on my USB.(2GB)
3.Copied /boot of XO to /media/OLPCRoot/
4.copied /lib/modules to /media/OLPCRoot/lib
5.copied /lib/firmware to /media/OLPCRoot/lib

After booting it...(Pressing the rightmost Key of game pad) ...it
shows the unlocked USB icon,,, tries to boot and shows error something
like these--(Sometimes,when I change things like changing olpc.fth
file, the results changes, but it never boots)
either "Unable to open boot device"
or " Unrecognized program format" (I got it when using boot "u:\initrd.img")
or it simply freezes while booting vmlinuz --it says...loading ramdisk
image... and bingo!!! FREEZE!

I have all the editions of Ubuntu live CDs since 7.10 and I don't want
to download any image. Is there any method I can boot into XO with the
Ubuntu live CD files???
Thanks dudes.
(I may try this method for my next development, Phoenix AURA, an OS
which I'll be developing for some schools and for my personal use)
Please help,I'll appreciate it.
