PyGTK is a thin layer over Gtk+, both have the same capabilities in this regard.

In most cases not much code will need to be modified. Aleksey has been
improving the layout of several activities so they adapt better to
other resolutions, but more help is welcome.

I don't know if it's possible, anyone has an idea of how feasible is this?
