I heard from someone, who already has his XO, that pasting into Terminal works,
with an external 3-button-mouse.

I guess, you are talking about a different mechanism for copy + paste, but is
there a method, to emulate a middle mouse button with the touchpad?
Emulate3buttons didn't work with the "fake" mouse.
