[sugar] Sugar Digest, Vol 22, Issue 85

Horváth-Militicsi Attila 6hunyadi

Dear Walter

I am more for Linux then the "microscopic soft". The first is gratis for
everybody and the second takes you with its mad prices beyond the rim of
normality. And Microsoft does not have a value as aclaimed throughout paid
reclamas - i.e. the Office packet in the Ultima version has a price beyond
500 euros - around 800 US$... in practice its less then 5 euros worth.
The other problem is that most countries, the African ones in first
place cant afford so high priced and so fastly changing software. I am using
more and more Open Office and its for free. When it does change I have not
to learn how to use it as the design is always the same.
Microsoft's time is gone and the royal crown has to go to Linux and Open
Office.
"Stay on the used way and you wont be robbed" says a Hungarian proverb
and the road here is Linux and Open Office.
Sincerely yours
Attila Horvath-Militicsi, from Novi Sad
