What are the two buttons mostly used for? Does sugar actually have 
context menus for the right button?

One idea might be to put the same icons on the buttons as you might see 
on the screen when they are to be pressed. For example, the little 
"pointing hand" icon which appears when you mouse over a link in the web 
browser.

Another, controversial option, is to label them (1) and (2) (numbers in 
circles to avoid confusion with numerical keys).

Or do these have to be worldwide icons because, unlike the keyboard 
cover, we can't switch it easily?
