Getting errors building libabiword, due to enchant, most likely not the
correct version
or due to building with fedora core 6 ?

I don't have a dbus-python directory
but do have a dbus directory.

After following your steps ( in source/dbus ). As not everything is rebuilt
I run ./sugar-jhbuild at the top level /home/alxx/sugar-jhbuild

get the dbus error,so select go to configure dbus then builds

Get the same error for mozilla, but that rebuilds okay after a configure
but then get stuck building libabiword again (same as before)

Is it possible to iunstall sugar on fedora core 6 and have it work ?

I am getting errors due to enchant not being found.

Now even though I install enchant via yum (fedora core 6 - pentium m
1.8GHz , 1GB ram Aopen mini pc) I keep getting checking for
SPELL... configure: error: Package requirements (enchant >= 1.2.0) were
not met:
No package 'enchant' found
 *
 o
+ error during stage configure of libabiword: Error running
./autogen.sh --prefix /home/alxx/sugar-jhbuild/build --enable-libabiword
--enable-symbols --disable-debug --disable-bonobo --disable-gnomevfs
--disable-gnomeui --disable-gucharmap --disable-static --disable-gtk-doc
