The shipped version sugar-xoirc, is a completely DIFFERENT application
than IRC-5.xo. NOT a later version...: /<br>

( if you poke around it the applications you see that someone changed
how it calls the application and it calls the wrong one)<br>

You don't say what's wrong with the version. The way I see it is that
the packaged version of IRC is a slightly later version of the same
application. If its just that it doesn't start we need to debug why
that is. Can you add to the bug the debug output when the shipped
version starts up and add it to the bug report.

go to ASLO
download IRC / Browse: activities Download irc-5.xo
This NEEDS TO BE FIXED because the wrong IRC (sugar-xoirc) is in KS file of
soas spin
irc-5.xo is the correct Application and works well after this correction.
Note: you must remove sugar-xoirc BEFORE doing Download of irc-5.xo. As
sugar-xoirc seems to block the start of irc-5.xo (maybe because the version
number is higher)
